Hi, it’s me again, Peggy, Mother-of-the-Bride. Less than three weeks ‘til June 30th, the day Kelly and James walk down the aisle here at Castle Farms. If you’ve been reading my blogs, you know that since Kelly and James live in Seattle, I’ve been seeing to some of the details they’re unable to take care of due to geographic reasons. My blog about rentable items is a perfect point-in-case. You might remember that Kelly and James decided to use tea lights, plus silver and glass candelabras on elegant mirrored tiles (all available for rent at Castle Farms) to decorate each individual reception table at The Knight’s Castle. They also thought flowers would look lovely on the tables, too. But where? How? And what would look best? Should they use flowers on all the tables or only half? To make it simpler for everyone, here’s what they’ve asked me to do.
A friend of mine (thank God for friends!) graciously donated the use of vases that are the perfect size for the flowers Kelly and James have picked out—purple hydrangeas. One day next week, I plan on going over to The Knight’s Castle and decorating a table or two with both flowers and candelabras just to get a feel for how everything looks… then I’ll report back to Kelly and James, so they can decide exactly what they want.
So, that’s what I’ll be busy doing next week. Lots of our Castle bridal couples decide to do the same thing… they come in and decorate a table or two, just to see how things look. Most of them are thrilled with the end result, but a few do decide to switch things around after the run-through. It’s important to get all the details straightened out before the big day. One less thing to worry about, right? And Castle Farms is happy to oblige. If you want to arrange for a table set-up, simply phone your Castle Venue Coordinator and let her know. She’ll be glad to assist you in setting up a date.
That’s it for now. Be sure and stay tuned… I’ll let you know how the table decorations turn out!
