Inclement Weather Plan
Planning Ahead
- The couple will have to call if they want to use the rain back-up plan 2 hours before the start of their ceremony. This time is to ensure that Castle Farms staff will have time to make sure the chair count matches your guest count along with making sure the back-up space is tidied up before your ceremony.
- The couple may not switch from their decision as Castle Farms staff will have redirected your guests to the ceremony located that was decided 2 hours prior.
-
Please Note:
When making this decision, please keep in mind that Castle Farms has enough umbrellas and towels to wipe down guest chairs if it not actively raining or to pass out to your guests if it is actively raining.
If the couple makes the decision to keep the ceremony in the original ceremony location and they decide to change the location within this 2 hour mark, the ceremony will be held in the reception space with a few tables moved. Your Venue Coordinator will help direct how the ceremony will happen whether this is moving some tables or having the ceremony in the middle of the dance floor.
