Sales Consultant

Castle Farms is currently seeking a dynamic and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Sales Consultant. As the first point of contact for prospective clients, the successful candidate will be responsible for handling inquiries, providing prompt and accurate information via email and phone, and conducting in-person meetings to showcase the unique offerings of Castle Farms. This position requires a confident phone demeanor, the ability to learn new computer programs, and a willingness to work weekends.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Client Interaction: Engage confidently with potential clients through various communication channels, including phone and email, to address inquiries and provide detailed information about Castle Farms’ event offerings.
  2. In-Person Meetings: Conduct on-site tours of Castle Farms for clients, showcasing the venue’s features and addressing specific event requirements. Present a professional and enthusiastic demeanor during in-person interactions.
  3. Learning and Adaptability: Demonstrate the ability to quickly learn and navigate new computer programs essential to the sales process. Stay informed about the latest offerings and updates at Castle Farms.
  4. Weekend Availability: Be available to work weekends, as our venue tours often take place on Saturdays and Sundays. Exhibit flexibility in your schedule to accommodate client needs.
  5. Data Entry Skills: Strong data entry skills are a plus, contributing to accurate record-keeping and efficient management of client information.
  6. Year-Round, Full-Time Position: Commit to a year-round, full-time position with typical work hours from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Opportunities for schedule flexibility on weekdays may be available.

Qualifications:

Starting Rate: $17-18 per hour.

Venue Coordinator

One Full-Time, Seasonal Position with Part-Time Hours November-April

Castle Farms is looking for an outgoing and personable self-starter who is excited about facilitating weddings!  This person must be well-organized, hard-working, and mature while being able to work weekends. This position requires exceptional communication, quick problem-solving skills, and the ability to confidently carry out the standards of hosting a Castle Farms event to ensure positive experiences for guests, clients, and coworkers. Interviews for this position will begin in January 2024 with a targeted hire date of early February 2024.

Venue Coordinators are assigned their clients two months out from the event date, becoming their main contact at Castle Farms through their event day. For wedding couples, you must answer questions related to the venue and their vendors’ service here, give recommendations on their unique room layout based on what they have at their wedding and how our venue is laid out, receive information in the Set-Up Packet on their ceremony and timeline plans and use that to run rehearsal the day prior and keep everything moving the day of their wedding for a timely ceremony start and smooth reception. Coordinators often leave around dinner time when the Assistant Venue Coordinator takes over for the remainder of the evening, though Venue Coordinators will occasionally need to close down their own wedding or event. Coordinators will work with anywhere between 4 to 20 clients at a time depending on the season.

$17-$18 per hour

 

Bistro Tour Food Setup Leader

One Seasonal Position, 25-40 hours per week May-October

As the Bistro Tour Food Setup Leader at 1918 Cellars, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the seamless execution of food and beverage setups for bistro tours during this seasonal operations. This position involves managing and coordinating all aspects of room setup, food preparation, presentation, and service to enhance the overall guest experience. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.  This is a seasonal position, and the Bistro Tour Food Setup Leader will be expected to work closely with the management team to contribute to the success of 1918 Cellars at Castle Farms during peak operational periods.

$17 per hour
