The Time of Year: If you choose to hold your ceremony at an outdoor wedding venue, the last thing you want is for your cocktail-attired guests to be sweating or shivering! To ensure you and your guests have the most picturesque and enjoyable experience, set the date at a time of year when the weather is most ideal. At Castle Farms, our outdoor wedding ceremonies are held between May and October and indoors between November and April.

Depending on your capacity requirements, budget, and time of day, we offer two gorgeous outdoor wedding venues for your upcoming ceremony:
Knight’s Courtyard
Offering the longest ceremony walk at the Castle, the Knight’s Courtyard – filled with an abundance of fragrant, seasonal flowers and a large stone arch – makes for the perfect dramatic backdrop to your wedding ceremony. Reception options include the following:
- Knight’s Castle: Castle Farm’s premier room, the Knight’s Castle, features a cathedral ceiling, a large chandelier, and a draped tulle “ceiling” with lights over the magnificent dance floor. Capacity: Ideal 80 to 150 people.
- West Garden Room: Offering stylish wainscoting and gorgeous white chandeliers, the West Garden Room is pure elegance. Capacity: 70 to 180 people, maximum 230.
Queen’s Courtyard
Featuring a beautiful brick walkway, stone walls, five graceful arches, and a grand circular fountain, the Queen’s Courtyard is a stunning Michigan outdoor wedding venue! Reception options include the following:
- King’s Great Hall: This majestic setting features candelabra chandeliers, original stone walls, fourteen-foot-high cathedral windows, and spacious balconies located at each end of the hall. Capacity: Ideal for 100 to 230 people, maximum 300.
- East Garden Room: This beautiful room is lined with French doors and features an enclosed patio with a separate bar area. Capacity: Ideal for 120 to 250 people, maximum 350.
