Traveling Safely to Castle Farms

It’s no secret that a wrench has been thrown in everyone’s plans to travel this year.  Some of us are still itching to get out, so if you choose to travel, travel safely.  With daily cleaning and a large property that makes it easy to socially distance, Castle Farms is a great place to escape the chaos that is 2020 and experience a setting where it’s as if time stands still.  There’s still magic to be seen, even with the masks, so don’t forget yours!

Things to See & Do

Tis the season, and as always, our holiday display is as big and bright as ever!  Come see the beautiful trees that line the King’s Gallery walls.  Be enchanted by the angels that greet you in the entryway of the West Garden Room.  Marvel at the towering tree in the King’s Grand Courtyard.  It’s certainly a display you’ll have to see for yourself, with plenty of space to spread out!

If the extravagant holiday exhibits aren’t for you, take a moment to enjoy our historical displays.  Whether you’re fascinated by the hundred-year-old history, or looking for some rock & roll nostalgia, the possibilities are endless for a trip back in time.  Browse through antique cake toppers or see what kind of metal work we have on display.

If you’re looking for some fun, hands-on activities to get your kiddos in the Christmas spirit, be sure to get tickets to one of our virtual holiday events!  Children will be able to watch private videos from Santa himself, and even hear a story from Mrs. Claus.  Pair that with a craft and a delicious snack, it’s the perfect holiday afternoon at home!  Get tickets here before December 18! (This date may extend, check our website for the most up-to-date information.)

Though in-person events are limited this year, all that are scheduled enforce all social distancing guidelines.  This includes limiting capacity, seating each group by household, spacing guests out by six feet or more, requiring masks on property, and setting up hand-sanitization stations around the Castle.

1918 Cellars is temporarily closed through December 10.  However, that doesn’t mean you can’t enjoy our wine!  Order our wine online [here,] and don’t forget to use code “WINE30” for 30% off purchases of 3 bottles or more!  It makes a great gift, or even serves as the finishing touch for a wine tasting at home.  Cut up some charcuterie or make mulled wine at home alongside some goodies from 1918 Cellars!

Once again, if you do choose to travel, remember to travel safely and responsibly!  Castle Farms is a wonderful destination where you can enjoy yourself in a setting that cares about the safety of each and every guest, so mask up and stop by for the holidays!
