Grand Wedding Expo Tips – 2017

Whether you are in the very beginning stages of planning your dream wedding or if you only have one more piece of the puzzle to lock in before the big day rolls around, Castle Farms’ Grand Wedding Expo has everything you need!  Vendors from across the state gather to win your business and shower you with their expertise, special offers, swag and food.  From gathering pricing information and availability, to choosing your favorite flavor of cake, we’re all here to help, have fun and make a great day out of an otherwise stressful job.

Here are a few things to keep in mind if you are attending the Grand Bridal Expo:

  • Give yourself enough time!  You will want to make sure you have enough time to not only pass by each vendor, but talk with them too.  We have over 40 vendors signed up this year! To qualify for the Grand Giveaway prize, you will need a signature from each vendor, so factor that time in if you plan to enter the giveaway.  As you plan out your day, keep in mind that there will also be workshops throughout the expo that you may not want to miss. Doors will be open at 10:00 am and the Fashion Show starts at 3:00 pm.  Also, you can buy your tickets in advance HERE.
  • Hey guys! There will be food. There will be a bar. The Lions don’t play until 8:30pm and your other half will be happy to have you involved. Need we say more?
  • Bring pre-made address labels with your names, e-mail addresses and phone numbers.  This will make signing up for any giveaways and receiving more detailed information from your favorite vendors a total breeze.  There will be lots of forms to fill out!  Bonus points for making an e-mail account just for wedding planning!  Okay, maybe there aren’t bonus points, but this will help keep the clutter out of your business or personal e-mail accounts.
  • Go for Comfort. You will be doing a lot of walking, a lot of talking and you will be in several different rooms with different numbers of people.  Comfortable shoes, layers and maybe a wallet or cross-body purse instead of an arm-bag to keep your hands free are the way to go!

The most important thing to remember is to have fun!  All too often couples go to wedding shows/expos with too many goals or too many questions to ask and they forget to really taste the cakes, dance with the DJ they fell in love with and take a few extra pictures in the photo booth. The Grand Bridal Expo is meant to be the best of both worlds in planning and just enjoying an afternoon at the Castle.
